Through the pluck and pull foam? Or is there a different method?

Don't know if that would work. I would try to get regular solid foam. Then get a new spade bit of the diameter you want. Drill through, then with a band saw or again a new hacksaw cut it length wise. Now you have two halves of the foam.
Now, keep in mind I have never tried this. I was just sitting here and the idea popped in my head.
