Travel Humidor Recommendation. - BlackKnight - 09-01-2010

A few of you have mentioned that you have a travel humidor. This sounds like a good idea and would like to possibly get one myself.
I ask, what do you have or recommend? Also if you can please post a pic of it or a link.
Thank you.

Pete and I have been talking about this in PM's and IM. One of the ones we both kind of agree on is this one. And I like it for the secondary reason that it will fit in my motorcycle saddlebag. Smile

Depending on your situation, crushproof, watertight, and secureable (not necessarily lockable unless you will be leaving it unattended). There are some nice leather carriers out there, if that is more your style.

Excellent! Thank you both.

I have this Cigar Caddy, which I think is a 30 count

And this 10 count Cigar Caddy

And this 5 count Herf a Dor

and these two that hold about 10 each, were freebies from Thompson and JR.

I plan on getting a Xikar 50 count, because you never have enough room.

My daily carry box is a 15 count herf-a-dor I picked up from C-bid a couple years ago. My weekender is either a 50 or an 80 count CigarCaddy. I don't think they make them anymore though. But I'm sure someone does.

I got my 30 count from Robbie Morton. Call him, he's a member of this site and an all around great retailer.

Robbie from Cordiva Cigars, Pensacola Florida..

What size are you looking for?

I have a 2 count, 5 count, 10 count and 15 count. I have been using my 10 count the most but my 15 count also gets a lot of use. The 5 count is perfect to tuck in a brief case or laptop bag. I rarely use the 2 count. I have the Xikar HC ones and also the solid black ones. I like the idea of getting ones local retailer or from fellow StogiaChat members. Robbie of Cordova Cigars or Sam from CheapHumidors are both upstanding members here. Talk to them and see what they can do for you.
