It would look great in your lodge doncha think???????

Yep!  Smile

But it would look better in our master bedroom, on my wife's side of the bed right next to her.  So when I lean over to kiss her good morning this cabinet would be the firt thing I see!

Parkster Wrote:We have that messed up 240v system over here Taf, I am searching for something similar to the oasis here in the UK, but not having much success.

I have been placing bowls of boiling water in to start the seasoning process and have removed a couple of trays with that god awful foam from the two cleverly hidden drawers.

I thought about beads in place of the foam, but cant figure how much beads I would need, and would idealy prefare to have something like an oasis that is mostly maintenance free but does the job.

The fun has only just began ....... I've had to promise Mrs P that I will stock it slowly ......... Tongue
I have found a solution for you Dave.

http://www.voltage-converter-transformer...ansformers

This will convert your voltage to 110volts and is designed to be used in Europe and has outlets that will except the plugs on our appliances. Let me know if you need help with this. I will gladly buy it and ship to you.

1 lb of beads will humidify 5 cubic feet, measure the inside dimensions X 3 and  there is your answer.

I've been using a Set & Forget active system that's been a dream to own and never had any issues until the outside humidity got above 80% raising the humidity in the cab, hence the need to add beads. I'm waiting for 2 lbs to arrive.

Dave, that's a great looking cabinet and pehaps you shouldn't be making promises to Mrs P that are so hard to keep Tongue

Congrats bro!

.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.
