Wife is out of town so I'll clean around the house Sunday with some light grocery shopping and some good drinking. Monday I have a Trinidad (Cuban) I might just light up and hang out with the dog.

Hung out with Good Dog Henry this morning on the patio with a BBF and coffee . . . then went and laid in ribeyes, sausage, cheeses (we always do a cheese tray and olives for family get togethers), beer, wine, and bourbon for Monday's shindig.

Tomorrow I'm picking up some storage shelving for the spare room, cleaning the house, mowing the lawn if it stops raining . . . but Monday's all about red meat, fire, and family.

Love having family around my table, and lots of good food on it. Great meal, great time. Just sent 'em all home, and as soon as it cools down a bit, it'll be time for bourbon and a cigar out on the patio.

This is why we served, what we fight to preserve and defend . . . this is the memory of our noble dead, expressed in living life full and free. This is the good stuff.
