Quote:Harrison said she understands the company's predicament and that Altadis has tried to treat its employees fairly, including guaranteeing employees two months of pay. Like her employer, she put part of the blame on the SCHIP tax hike.

"We can't afford to make these cigars in the U.S. anymore," she said.

Just like those EEeeevil corporations!   Always worried about making a profit and staying in business!  I bet they even donated money to those big-business republicans who are always screwing the little guy, giving tax breaks to the corporations.

Nevermind that the tax breaks give incentive for the corporation to either come TO America and CREATE jobs, or keep them IN America and KEEP jobs.  You just keep pulling the "D" lever, because you don't need a factory job anyways.  You just pull that "D" lever and we'll give you a nice fat monthly check for doing nothing except attend ACORN rallies.

Well, the good news is at least the poor people on welfare can keep cranking out kids and know they will have health care, as well as that added bonus per kid in their welfare check.
