I HATE this time of the year!
#1
I swear Night of the Living Dead is ALWAYS on. Drives me crazy. I can deal with zombies, slasher flicks and the paranormal. I LOVE the haunted shows on the channels where they are legitimately trying to investigate or explain. In fact, I'm watching Paranormal State now.

But I despise, let me repeat DESPISE, Night of the Living Dead!

There is nothing worse than watching a movie about the dead taking over and seeing YOUR TOWN show up on the TV in the movie! Especially on foggy nights. Do you know how far it is to one of the "shelters" named in the movie? Minutes by car, but running past flesh-eating zombies in the dark woods downhill? Could take too long.Angry1 <-- that looks like one of them.

The Man was watching it one night to torture me and when I went to close the blinds so the zombies had a hard time finding us. Out of the fog I saw someone walking slowly and almost had a heart attack. Luckily, it was a neighbor walking his dog!

Please, stop watching this dreadful movie so they quit putting it on TV! And yes, those town exist, and I live near them. <shiver>

Love this time of year. So far no zombies here in KC but we do have the best haunted houses in the world, The Beast and Edge of Hell.

The Ohio State Reformatory/Mansfield Reformatory is a pretty good one. Let alone the actual reformatory is amazing

Ours are not "real" haunted houses but the seasonal haunted houses. They put millions of dollars into these and they are amazing if you like getting scared. If you ever visit KC in the fall you must visit these.

i hate this time of year cause it's time to wrap the fig trees, put away the yard furniture, the kayak, unload the boat, have issues cleaning the boat cause I need to turn off the water, bring in my plants (I have 2 hibiscus trees I bring indoors. They are 10 years old now and going strong)
