This Saturday I am fishing the Freeport Hudson Anglers Shart Tournament.
Anyone near long island, Freeport is the place to be around 4pm on to 7pm if you want to see some impressive sharks. Boats form all around the country come to fish this prestigious tournament. All sorts of well known teams including the guy Jaws was written after, Frank Mundus. http://www.fmundus.com/
This year I have a crackerjack team with some secret weapons. One of the guys I almost idolize from my marina is fishing with me (he was once well known for body building under the name is Big E which is now the name of his boat). He has caught some impressive sharks. He is my first mate along with 2 of the 3 brothers form my old crew.

(everyone but the guy in the orange).
This picture was from 2003 when we came in with the winning fish 12 minutes late.
The festivities for spectators includes fresh shark steaks that they grill form donated loosing fish, along with steaks to take home (leftovers go to a local food bank)
Anyway, if you are there, watch for the MEGABYTE and our winning fish!

(I got the pre-season jitters, anticipation along with anxiety and nerves... it's stressful running 80 miles off shore top speed in the dark, then tangling with these man-eaters.. and let me tell you, they gewt pissed when you hook them too!)
WISH ME LUCK!
