Hey Sal...Mark and I both just recently picked up the Majors...he really likes them and I will soon be trying them for myself. I cannot offer any help however on the flavor differences.
I can tell you that the price of the Majors is awesome and it is that cheap since the cigar is machine bunched and hand finished.

I found this, "The cigar under this commercial name is presented in two different sizes or formats: Mareva and Eminente. In the case of the Coronas, the cigars are always hand rolled but in the case of the Eminentes they can be both hand rolled or machine rolled. The blend is the same in the two versions" The Corona Major is a Mareva, which would mean it is totally hand made. Also on the bottom of the box it does state, "Totalmente a mano" which is hand made. Sal, I really like the Corona Major, they have great flavors for a small cigar and I think they have great aging potential.

This may be true, Mark, but the Corona Majors and Minors, the totally handmade versions were discontinued in 2002. Only machine bunched, hand finished now.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
