Illusione Cigars - lets talk about 'em
#1
I just picked up a box of Illusione 23 Tre in Uno (Culebra). How much do you all know about this brand? I haven't had any yet however they look and smell amazing! Many different sizes as well! So let's hear what everyone knows about them! I saw their website but figured I'd get some first hand feedback! Mason

Never even heard of them Mason.  Smoke one and let us know what they're like.

The info I've gotten says they are something like pepin and tatuaje in strength and flavor. Other info ice gotten us that they were created and blended by someone named Dion. They are made in the Fernandez y Fernandez plant as well I believe. The website is www.illusionecigars.com but I can't see it from my blackberry due to flash. It'll probably be a while before I smoke them though. Mason

Saw Vudu9 post that these are his blend on another board http://www.cigarfamily.com/cf4/thread.cfm?Room=Cigar&threadId=44042&z=38&MemberID=18180&Remember=1

Any insight here Dion?

Thanks.

I am curious to try them....but they seem a bit full of themselves for such an unknown brand. Their site states: The Best Leaf, The Best Cigars!Confusedhock:
THE ONE & ONLY - THE LK

- the Great Parkster

I don't even have words bro.  You have absolutely blown the $hit out of me. No come back, I got nothing, speechless - The Shephard PO - RIP July 2007

Dion is the owner of FUMARE in Reno and this is his brand.  Really great cigar, Mark from Tower turned me on to these.

Yeah, Dion announced this new line quite a while back on StogieChat, WAY before they were released. He's a great guy who throws a ton of great events at his killer shop in Reno.

I actually have one of the culebras, but haven't smoked it yet. Looks and smells like a winner! Maybe I'll break into it this weekend.

These are Nicaraguan puros, probably of quite superior grade leaf. Pete Johnson is a friend of his... you know, the creator of Tatuaje. Same kind of thing. Small production, carefully controlled blend, amazing tobacco. I expect that these are worth every penny. But I'll know more after smoking it, of course.

We're lucky to have vudu9 on the board. Speak up, Dion! Give us the dope, man. We want to know all of the dirty secrets on this new line you've got.

I really like the illusione 68. it is a little power house with interesting flavors. I get a couple of these quite often when Mark @ Tower has them stocked. I like to switch them up with my  Tat's, Cuban Classics and LDF 200 Oscuro's.
