Yor are the man. Great find.
.
We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

They are a good cigar Jeebus, but not as good as those ratings. I haven't tried any from the 07 release, but I'd give the 06's 89-90.
They have a really dry finish which is kind of irritating.
I don't think the Serie V or the Padilla 68 are worthy of their ratings either.
The others I haven't tried.

I like the PAM 1964 also Jeebus. It seems that Nicaragua is producing some excellent tobacco crops. I did not really pay too much attention as to where a cigar came from unless it was Cuban. Then I came to realize that all my favorite cigars came from Nicaragua. Now its the first thing I look for in a cigar.
I think that the Pam 80th is also overrated. Not that it is not a great cigar cause it is. To me its just as good as all the other 1926's which still makes it damn good. I believe that too many out there are buying into the hype, including me, cause I still want more of these. I would bet that in a blind tasting of this cigar by the sheeple it would not rate as high on their own lists as it did by the "experts"!
