Pinewood Derby
#1
I only said I will tap into the Padron 80th on a special occasion.  Well tonight is the night.   Sorry to boast but I am a proud Dad!  And I am going to enjoy a GREAT cigar!

My two boys placed First and Second in the city wide Pinewood Derby tonight.  They qualify for regionals at Mall of America in Minneapolis!

very very cool Tank. Awesome cars. I built, ahem, we (my kids and I) built probably around 10 or so of those cars. We took first place every time we didn't try. Then we got serious and couldn't make the magic happen, but those were fun days indeed. Congratulations!

Great job taking the big W for both of them. Aren't they supposed to get the victory sticks though? [smokin2]Good job with the boys man. T
.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

Thanks Terry,

Many late nights working on the cars with some fine sticks.  Here is the Bolivar Belicoso I enjoyed while sanding down one of the cars.
