Horseshoes and hand gredades, man. Starbucks is being unreasonable in this case, and I doubt the school is being as unreasonable as they are being made out to be.
Thats not the same thing at all, as I am sure the school has procedures for parent to contact students while they are in class. Every other school I have ever been to has emergency contact procedures so parents can get ahold of their children, I dont think this one was any different. I doubt the school was preventing the father from contacting his kid, it just wanted it done through the proper channels. The kid didnt go through the channels (which, like NANP said, if half the students there had parents in the Millitary, were probably very well known to the whole student body) and caught a little flack. Thats what happens. Oh well, he'll survive.
