I agree the kids cough was fake.
I thought that scene was setup to coney just how black & white / uncaring Carol really is.
a kid that she's suppose to protect like her own gives a half hearted cough and she throughs the kid into the death ward.

How did you guys like the Governor Show...
Personally I didn't like it at all and found it an effort just to keep my eyes opened.

I liked it as it was something different from the usual prison scene.
I started to get bored watching the walkers break down the fence so at least this was different.

I enjoyed as a break from the prison. Who knows, maybe everyone in the prison died and now the show will be called The Walking Governor. We would get to see him dodging walkers as he staggers across the country.
