It will probably be an easier but longer route next year, Im thinking.  If you are serriously considering it, you need to decide by January because it fills up FAST.  And probably faster this year because Lance Armstrong said he would go all week.  :?

Actually,I meant how did I miss this thread....not the event.It's too far for us,but I do Love bikeing and mountain bikeing....not for competition though,just fun.
We have been doing more hikeing lately because the dogs hate being home and I refuse to stick them in a bike trailer while rideing.

DJ, great pics and narration of the long trip.  Sounds like you had a blast except that damn demo bike.  Just when you get your hands on a kick ass bike there's trouble, not big trouble but you would think with an expensive bike like that they would have made sure it was tuned and working properly.
