food allergies
#21
Apparently we are doing something similar with his shrimp, fin fish and eventually almonds allergies. Starting the shrimp the end of Febuary down at Mt Sinai. His peanut allergy are very severe, so not sure if he will ever able to eat them, but there is always hope. Apparently i don't listen... lol I think i do, just at some point it shuts off.

severe peanut allergies are not that uncommon. My son had a friend in school that if anyone in the house ate anything with peanuts within the last 4 hours he could not come over. This kid was so allergic that flying was basically out of the question. He could not be on a plane that served peanuts within the last few flights. The way he put it your breath could send him to the hospital.
I'm happy to say that as he grew he allergy became more manageable. He still cant eat peanuts or be around anyone who is eating them but if you ate peanuts 30 minutes before he came he would be basically ok.
I hope your son grows out of this. Meanwhile good luck.
