HEY TANKIE!
#41
Due to the overwhelming response, Tank and I have decided to go with option #2 and leave the bet as is between the players, injuries be what they may.

Both teams won in Week 4, with the Vikings traveling across the pond to beat up the Steelers and the Bills defeating the defending Super Bowl Champions.

WEEK FOUR -
1. TDs thrown by our former FSU QBs – EJ Manuel 1 and Chris Ponder (Out with injury);
2. Yards from scrimmage between our two star running backs – AP 140 rush + 0 rec = 140 and CJ 77 rush + 0 rec = 77; and
3. Number of catches by our big mouth wide receivers – Greg Jennings 3 and Stevie Johnson 1.

SEASON TOTALS THRU 4 WEEKS:

1. EJ 5, CP 2;
2. CJ 261, AP 495; AND
3. SJ 18, GJ 14.

Week 5. Viking get the week off, time for the Bills to gain some ground. Instead, all of the Bills involved here ended up getting injured.

WEEK FIVE -
1. TDs thrown by our former FSU QBs – EJ Manuel 0 and Chris Ponder 0;
2. Yards from scrimmage between our two star running backs – AP 0 rush + 0 rec = 0 and CJ 66 rush + 0 rec =; and
3. Number of catches by our big mouth wide receivers – Greg Jennings 0 and Stevie Johnson 2.

SEASON TOTALS THRU 5 WEEKS:

1. EJ 5, CP 2;
2. CJ 327, AP 495; AND
3. SJ 20, GJ 14.

Hopefully all of the Bills involved and Christian Ponder will be healthy enough to return to the field in Week 6.

“Wow has this bet turned out to be ridiculously exciting,” said No One.

Vikings coming off their bye week. Neither QB is playing. Stevie Johnson is out too.

WEEK SIX -
1. TDs thrown by our former FSU QBs – EJ Manuel 0 and Chris Ponder 0;
2. Yards from scrimmage between our two star running backs – AP 62 rush + 21 rec = 83 and CJ 55 rush + 11 rec = 66; and
3. Number of catches by our big mouth wide receivers – Greg Jennings 6 and Stevie Johnson 0.

SEASON TOTALS THRU 6 WEEKS:

1. EJ 5, CP 2;
2. CJ 393, AP 578; AND
3. SJ 20, GJ 20.

Prayers go out to Adrian Peterson, his family and especially his son.

This is pathetic. Now the Vikings face the Giants primetime in Monday night football!

You can say that again. And it doesn't look like its going to get any better. EJ is out for a few more weeks. Ponder has been benched in favor of the castoff from Tampa.

WEEK SEVEN -
1. TDs thrown by our former FSU QBs – EJ Manuel 0 and Chris Ponder 0;
2. Yards from scrimmage between our two star running backs – AP 28 rush + 28 rec = 56 and CJ 11 rush + 0 rec = 11; and
3. Number of catches by our big mouth wide receivers – Greg Jennings 4 and Stevie Johnson 6.

SEASON TOTALS THRU 7 WEEKS:

1. EJ 5, CP 2;
2. CJ 404, AP 634; AND
3. SJ 26, GJ 24.

Bills head down to New Orleans this week, while the Vikes host GB on Sunday Night. Try not to fall off of the edge of your seats.

It seems that the Vikings and Bills care as much about our bet as everyone here. No EJ or CJ for week 8, and Ponder couldn't throw a TD in his return to action.

WEEK EIGHT -
1. TDs thrown by our former FSU QBs – EJ Manuel 0 and Chris Ponder 0;
2. Yards from scrimmage between our two star running backs – AP 60 rush + 23 rec = 83 and CJ 0 rush + 0 rec = 0; and
3. Number of catches by our big mouth wide receivers – Greg Jennings 1 and Stevie Johnson 7.

SEASON TOTALS THRU 8 WEEKS:

1. EJ 5, CP 2;
2. CJ 404, AP 717; AND
3. SJ 33, GJ 25.

In week 9 the Bills will try and knock off the undefeated Chiefs. The Vikings will try and go in to Dallas and get a win. And Tankie will attempt (and fail miserably) to have a pizza delivered to his house without incident . . .
