I recently bought a bundle of these Cuban Leaf cigars by Tabacalera Tropical at my local B&M. As most of you know, I am a bundle cigar freak, only because its what my budget dictates. I had tried a single of this cigar and loved it, and the bundle, thus far has not dissapointed. I have smoked about half of the bdl/20, and every one had a great burn, consistency, and flavor.
The first half starts off mild/medium, with hints of pepper, and earthy flavors. It doesn't stray far from that for the entire length of the cigar, but as I said, its a good flavor, and I was not dissapointed. The aftertaste is mild, and doesn't make me HAVE to drink something afterward to wash the taste out of my mouth. If you like medium bodied smokes with a pepper and earthy taste, along with a hint of sweetness, then this is the cigar for you. They are cheap too My local place charges me about $30 for a bundle of 20, and thats with the CA tobacco and sales tax included. They are right about the same as lynn cigars and everywhere else i have seen, except I don't have to pay shipping. This is DEFINETLY going to be in my regular rotation from now on. I normally keep 1/2 the bundle at my local shop to smoke when I go there, and 1/2 are now in my humidor. If any of you are like me and need a good budget stick, look into these. Even with shipping costs, IMHO, they are well worth the $$.
