MILWAUKEE -- A popular cheese dip was recalled Friday night over fears of botulism, officials said.

Olivier's parmesan and asiago dip with garlic and basil
comes in an 11.76 ounce jar and is sold at Williams Sonoma stores.

The dip could be contaminated with the life-threatening bacteria botulism, officials said.   Anyone who has purchased the dip should not eat it regardless of the expiration date.

Man, that's ridiculous.  I wonder if there will be more brands added to the list later.  It always seems to happen that way in these recalls.  I know I won't be eating any cheese dip for a while...

i have unfortunately had botulism. It isn't fun. Obviously I didn't die but for around 30 hours I wish I did. I vomited up organs....
