Will SOMEBODY please talk me out of buying another humidor PLEASE!?!??!?!
No prob JBWink  I think you should not buy another humi like this.

Instead what I think you should do is continue using coolers - big, HUGE coolers to be exact.  The uglier the cooler, the better.  While employing the ugly cooler attack on the left flank you will come around on the right with the, "I thought it more wise not to spend the $$$" line.  After these two lines of attack have been established you will then hit head on with the plan to save $$$ to buy the one last humi you'll ever need.  You'll talk about the great customized safety features it'll have like secure locks.  You will also mention that you're sure there will be a buyer for your current humi whenever you choose to sell it.  If you employ my method, you will one day be the proud owner of a large custom cabinet.  Or you can just do what i did and get rid of the damned woman and have all that extra space for as many cigars as you want!Tongue

Check this one out...

http://www.cigarextras.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=436

It has the Cigar Oasis II included, total is $659 without shipping... I've been shopping around and it's the cheapest I've found for a 3000 cigar humi.  Most others I have seen don't include the humidifier...

I already own a Havana Cafe humidor and am running out of space.  It is very similar to the Antietum except it has a separate drawer that can be opened without opening the door.

they take you on the shipping though, 200 bones. i've had quite a few very large deliveries come to my by freight truck, and i don't recall ever paying anything close to that for a shipping charge.

I am still on the fence here.  Maybe I should ssave the money and get something along the lines of what the Mum has . . . You, know, nothing beats the seal on my ugly cooler . . .  I could get a nice box or two of cigars for $300.00 . . . I think I will toil over this decision until tomorrow.

Nice humi. I do hate when they gouge you on the shipping because it REALLY offends me. That unit shouldn't cost more then 80 to ship.  That is why I use my own shipper when I have a large item. Some have told me they wont use my shipper and I tell them OK, cancel the order and they have a change of heart. Shop the ship price.
.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

Joebob:  Just stick with wine coolers, specifically, something like this: http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=343454&pCatg=7228

That should keep storage capacity from being a problem for at least 5 or 6 months Big Grin
