Wrapper: Ecuador
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Prelight:
smooth perfect coffe colored wrapper. Somewhat oily, with the hint of a sweet clover field in smell. The taste was a sharp pepper with very strong tones of oak and cedar overcasts. The draw was easy, almost too easy for my liking. Don't let this last fact deceive you, it is a near perfect cigar.
Lighting it was a pleasure. The smoke is not creamy but very brothy, with hints of wet hay and pepper intermixed. I found it not a heavy creamy smoke, but a very pleasently strong and very fluid like smoke. The pepper tones taking at times almost astringent qualities, waking your senses to a peak of attention dying back down to a light taste of some very dark coffee.
This gentle folk, is not a cigar to be taken lightly, it is a cigar for someone with a bit of experience behind them. Take time with this smoke, enjoy it get all the nuances that it throws at you.
