Well I'm going to do my best to recap the event the best I can. For starters l would like to thank our host the Robfather for opening his home to an unruly bunch of cigar smoking derelicts. I will also like to thank his wife for allowing him to do so.
The herf kicked off at 12pm, people arrived between 12 and 1pm. Cigars were being smoked, food was being prepared.
Then the Mum arrived, he had a lot of luggage with him. Box after box was brought into the back yard, Seems Tank had a lot of bombing he wanted to do and Jimmie was to be the messenger. Jimmie called Tank on the phone, it was a little tough to here him on speaker phone. However it was easy to tell he was talking a lot of smack talk. I did happen to hear him say something about kicking my ass. I thought that was pretty funny being the little bitch was all the way on the other side of the country.
Then all of the sudden I could hear Tanks voice load and clear. As a matter of fact it was clear that his voice was coming from Rob's driveway.
hock: That is right! Rob's driveway. Turns out Tank showed up to the LI Herf.
Well the bombing was non stop, cigars where gifted back and forth through out the course of the herf. It was simply amazing the carnage.
Mario amazed us with card tricks for a few hours, I will tell you Mario is amazing with his card tricks. Ashman was only able to manage a few words after each trick...."Thats bullshit". There were lots of laughs had, many great cigars smoked, good food and lots of fantastic drinks.
I saw a lot of good friends that I had seen before, and meet a bunch of new ones. It was great to have meet Tank for the first time, and he is as intense in person as he is on the forum. Don (Bluesman) was there and it was great to meet him. Don really knows a lot about cigars and I could talk to him for hours about cigars. Mario brought the Firm jr's with him Kingof9's and Pseudo. Jimmie had Chris1980 with him.
I would like to thank Rob again for hosting this. Mark for putting together all the great food and beer he brought. Kieth for being a madman and bombing me with a Padron Millennium.
hock: Mario for bombing me with something completely unbelievable that deserves it's own thread.
hock: Tank owned me with a fantastic bottle of port. Our special guest Bulz just for coming as it is always great to see him.
In closing it was a great Herf and I had a blast, these are some of the best folks I know.
