Sancho Panza Valiente
#1
Robusto
5 1/4 x 50

Wrapper: Connecticut
Binder: Connecticut
Filler: Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras

Prelight:

very nice construction. Dark leathery wrapper with a peppery leather taste to it. I used a 7mm punch on this smoke and the draw was a near perfect draw, bathing my mouth with a rich leathery pepper taste.

Lighting this smoke was easy even while on the road, the burn a bit uneven but managed to keep up with itself leaving behind a nice grayish white ash. The smoke a medium strength smoke, with a very predominant taste of leather and pepper, though I did have a hint of something sweet on several occasions.

Overall a very nice cigar the only drawback being that it was truly one dimensional. I had expected way better from the trio filler used. This would be a nice cigar for someone just starting out and not needing the true complexities of a mild to medium smoke.

Thank you for the review!  I had never heard of this cigar and one of my favorite things to do is read reviews on cigars that are new to me.

Had a sancho panza the other night for the first time and really liked it. Pretty medium/full body but yes one dimensional. But a good dimension. Nice taste for the price.
