La Unica #400
#1
Robusto 4 1/2x50

Wrapper: Connecticut
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican Republic

I grabbed a couple of these at at shop I visited and didn't want to walk out empty handed. The dark leathery wrapper makes this cigar an eye catcher from the distance. Once I removed the cello, I found a spot about 1/8th of an inch in diameter where the binder was bare. The cigar parted almost no scent what so ever, only a very faint smell of dirt. This cigar is almost
rustic looking

The draw was not bad at all and carried a taste of moss.

This cigar burns very evenly almost laserline perfect with a nice stiff white ash that can easily last you half the cigar before falling off on its own. This very same ash is traversed by very dark veins leading up to a black oily ring around the wrapper as the burn line moves up.

The flavor on this cigar is mild, with very little variance on the actual taste of sweet whiskey with a hint of pine resin. For those of you looking for a very mild dark cigar this is it. It is a no frills cigar well worth the money for under three dollars a stick. This could be considered an everyday cigar, but certainly not the main event.

Never heard of it!

I think Mario stated that life is too short to smoke shitty cigars.  Not that this may be shitty but as you said it was not the "main event".  From here on out I only want to smoke the "main event" myself!

Thanks for the review.  As always well written and greatly appreciated!

These are made by Fuente.  The cameroon in this line is worth trying, but is a little pricey for what you get.
