They're on my list! Cool
If Sonny had EZ-Pass, he'd have survived that hit...

Fortuitous... one of my favorite words!
Thanks for reminding me, CP.

Just picked up some of the Flying Dog Oktoberfest.
Haven't tried it yet. But...

Gonna have an Oktoberfest Party next Wednesday.
I started a men's fellowship at my parish (church).
We're doing brats & sauerkraut & brew & polka, etc.
And we always finish every meeting with cigars.

Talk about celebrating October! [guiness]

(Alas I didnt get a photo of the Sam Adams, so here is a spiffy stock photo!)  I really must say that the Samuel Adams Octoberfest is still the American benchmark for the style and is one of the best beers available on a large scale.  Predominantly malty (Carrie liked it, which is the easiest way to tell it was on the sweet emnd of the spectrum) and smooth while still being flavorful, this is one bee I could drink a ton of and never get bored.

From OHIO!  Probably my favorite of all the beers I tried. A smidge fuller bodied, and hoppier (to me at least) than the Sam Adams, it really was better balanced and a joy to drink.  Great Lakes Brewing Company might be my favorite brewery that I have tried in the midwest.  I really need to get to Cleveland and check out the brewpub.
