My Take on the Cabaiguan Maduro 46
#1
As some of you know, I tricked the folks at Cigar Inspector to let me review for their site, in return for free cigars and the general internet stardom that Tom has been enjoying. Tongue
I'm not allowed to post the same thing elsewhere, and I'm not going to be the guy that says, "Go read this here!"

So here's my condensed version, and if you'd like to read the whole thing (it's super short) the link is below.

As a fan of the Tatuaje and Cabaiguan lines, I was excited to hear that Pete Johnson was extending the Cabaiguan line to include several vitolas with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. I find the Cabaiguan guapos with the sungrown wrappers to be spicy and delicious, so it wasn’t a tough decision to buy a box when I found them available. Since the purchase, I’ve smoked a handful of the sticks from the box marked July ‘08, and they’ve been very consistent, which should be expected given the credentials of the Pepin/Johnson team that created them.

Overall:
[thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup][really] (3 1/2 Thumbs Up)
I think they're overpriced and don't deliver on the promise of the Guapo.
