What do you do with the bands

I use a butane insert with a soft flame. I gave the CAO to a friend who has some stars/stripes tattoos...

Chango, what do you coat the lighters with afterwards? Everything I used so far is a bit soft and mars when you toss it in a pocket with keys or change.

Nice lighter collection! I use an "exterior/interior varnish" made of polyurethane, that I bought at a craft store. The bottle says "super-tough," but it can still be scrapped off. If you press a fingernail against it with some force, it will leave a dent. So when you say it feels a bit soft, I know what you mean. But it stands up fairly well against everyday bumping into stuff. And I put on aleast 4 coats. I'll post a pic of the bottle a bit later.

I think Po did that to a bar last year! Turned out great from what I remember.

Don blessed me with one of these.  it's absolutely beautiful and just captures and keeps your eye as you peruse one band after another after another.  words don't describe it.  this is to say nothing of the personal significance it has to a great time with great folks.

I string them together to make summer clothing.

Nothing says class more than a bearded biker in a cigar ring tank top.

I sent a big baggie to PO for the bartop, but have been continuing to save mine . . . I press them flat in the pages of a hardcover book. I've decoupaged a humi lid with some before---Bluesman has it now Cool---but I'm thinking I'd like to do an end table top inset next time around, for my smoking room. You can get these really nice kits that are made to take tile inlays and a label collage would look great there instead.
