Cordova Herf Day 1

I got up at 6:20am Wednesday morning for work.   Spent the entire day at work and trying to get on the road to Minneapolis.   I finally got on the road at 6pm Wednesday evening.

Long story short I pulled an all nighter.   I made a special stop at 4am at White Castle in Minneapolis.   This is for you David...............

 

 



 

 

 

 

I got to the airport soon after and boarded my connetion flight to Memphis.   I tried to call Tafdom but no answer.   But I got some pics of Terry's swimming pool.   Also pictured is Madurodave and Smokie's houses...................

 



 



 

 

 

 

I got some shut-eye on the flight but one does not really sleep all that well.   I made the connection to Pensacola and arrived at 10:30am on Thursday.   Robbie picked me up and we headed to his shop for a cigar.

Robbie and his Dad Tom gave me a Padron 80th Natural.   Excellent stick.   Then I had to load my new 8gig memory card into my camera.   We even got a picture of it.......................

Man I could not believe how good the sun felt.   70-something degrees.   HUGE disparity from North Dakota.......................

 



 

 

 

 

Then it was time for lunch.   We ordered some excellent chow from Jerry's Cajun Cuisine.   I met Jerry with Robbie when we were in Vegas for the Vegas Herf in July of '08.    This guy can cook.   WOW!

John from General Cigar came into the shop.   He bombed me with a new Dominican puro Cohiba, HDM Excaliber Legend, and a Mac 1968.   Then Robbie signed his contract to bring in the La Gloria Cubana Artesano's...................

Gunnar made it in at 2pm and we enjoyed a cigar in the warm sun..............
