Buy online or local?

To be honest, I buy singles locally, boxes online. My local B&M is great, and I consider the owner a good friend, but I just can't afford to buy most boxes there . . . some things yes, but mostly no.

Same here, I'll sample locally and when I'm ready for a box online just saves my more then enough to justify. I mean an Arturo Fuentes Hemingway Signature cost $8 a stick (box of 25-$200 plus tax), yet online there $6.10 maybe a stick and I can pick them up for $155 shipped for a box of 25.

Most of my lower to mid range sticks i agree 100%.   The strange thing about PA is the complete lack of cigar tax at the moment though.  I can buy anejo and opus for MSRP, and at the same time see people bid them up on Cbid and other sites for $20-$35 per stick.  Madness.  I'm sitting on a box of sharks that I picked up for $8.20 per stick.
