Bought this last week and couldn't let it sit any longer. It was nice this morning so I figured it would make a nice morning smoke before class. Boy was I right. It was the best mild smoke I've ever had. The brand says it's medium but I have to say it was more mild than most things I've had yet. It lit up very nicely and had a sweet tobacco taste from start to finish with a hint of pepper through the nose. This smoke was not in anyway complex and that's fine with me. The I went into this smoke not expecting much from the reviews I've read and the whole "mixed filler" thing. I loved this cigar, it is the best one I've had in a while. My only issue was that I cut the cap a little to far and the wrapper came off a little bit. It was fine for the first 2/3 but I had to put it down after that because of the problem. I didn't think I took so much off so it may have been a construction problem. I'll see how the next one goes.
The whole time I was smoking it, I was thinking how I was going to describe it to you guys. I mean, how do you describe how much you love a smoke that is not complex and doesn't have characteristics like "hint of orange peel" or "croation sun splash" or whatever terms the use? I came to realize this cigar can be summed up in one word "pleasant". It was just a really pleasant smoke and I highly recommend you visit or revisit it with an open mind. Don't expect Brown or Red label. Just expect a consistantly pleasant mild smoke. [thumbsup]
