Family Weekend
#1
My son's b-day isn't for a couple weeks, but we celebrated this weekend. Spent the weekend in a converted train caboose cabin (he loves trains). I wish my leg had been healed all the way for this weekend, but we had a blast.

Friday we got checked in to our train, explored the town, had a great dinner at a local supper club, and went through a fiberglass statue graveyard.

Saturday morning we went into town for their local fall festival. Steven got to explore some fire trucks and put out a real fire in the fire station. Then family came up in the afternoon and we grilled out, opened presents, cooked s'mores and had a great day.[Image: e8f9a9b2f893e33322cf99329af2b881.jpg][Image: 7075da827d4cec39db460fa9613e13f1.jpg][Image: 2e9d35eea54ff98c014ec9e970304453.jpg][Image: 31c3e00d3269c38c7689e65de2a75ace.jpg][Image: 1f7625dd94ede2858a9d185fa60d5153.jpg][Image: b755c00602102460150153ac30b00923.jpg][Image: e48fb4808f90b4338db211625509a6ca.jpg][Image: 0d6ecf48be88f711c275c5178511a49a.jpg]
Fishing is much more than fish. It is the great occasion when we may return to the fine simplicity of our forefathers.

Wow Ben, what a great weekend. Steven is growing, no longer a little kid.
A converted train caboose cabin, that's incredible.

Damn, that's an awesome trip!

I've heard about those type of caboose/cabins, never saw one though.
Even though he's getting older, he still has that great smile!
If Sonny had EZ-Pass, he'd have survived that hit...
