Not new...but I've been away too long
#1
Hello StogieChat!

I have been away too long.  It is time to check back in and say hello.  I changed jobs in the last few years, and I have been spending a lot of time with my girlfriend.  And I am trying to sell my house for another in Modesto, California.  However, I've been herfing with MaytagMan regularly.  I am sad the hockey season is over, but the way my Anaheim Ducks were playing, I guess the season really was over in November.

I have been smoking a lot of my favorite Illusione Epernays, Alec Bradley Filthy Hooligans, and whatever else I get my hands on these days.

I hope everyone is well through these weird times, and I look forward to getting re-acquainted with everyone.

Cheers and beers (I drink a lot of craft beer, too ?),

Doug

It is good to be back, and I hope everyone is doing well, especially during these crazy times. However, I suddenly have a lot more time to smoke in my backyard and see the world from the computer.

The Mumfather gave me a summons to return to StogieChat, but I foolishly failed to appear. The Stogie Po-Po finally caught up with me. Actually, Jimmie, I had thought of you about a week ago when I was painting my kitchen cabinets. I stored the paint in empty orange juice bottles, a Mum trick I remembered from way been when. I have been busy resurfacing all my cabinets, a bitch of a job: latex paint over a layer of latex paint over several layers of oil based paints, which I am sure a full of lead.

Tell me more about this orange juice/paint thing. You've piqued my curiosity.

Ben. I buy these plastic containers (usually orange juice). Have a few screwdrivers in the process. I save the containers and after painting instead of leaving the leftover pain in the metal container i put it into the plastic jug for storage.
