Ever have a Cigar that just don't draw?
#1
Question
Well about 6 months ago I stumbled on a really cool little invention.  It is the idea of a Dentist in California, it is what I call a Cigar C.P.R. Tool, it's price point is not bad @ $25.00ish, when you factor in the Cigars you can totally save, or help make the draw better.  Increasing smoking pleasure it will pray for itself quick IMHO.

If I have got your interest, I will say go to the inventors web-site, poke around it, look at all the videos, to see how the invention works, what it does, and last there are several Cigar Bloggers who do review of the helper tool.

http://perfecdraw.com

Yes I own one, it is always with me.  I use it on maybe 50% of the Cigars I smoke, to make the draw, or to make them draw better.  I smoke a lot of Torpedos, the head are always tight IMHO.

This is not one of the other gizmos on the market that don't do much, this little invention is what I call.  Something that works, as advertised.

Thought I would share this information, as it has never ever been mention on this forum.  Poor draw, or no draw is a subject that Cigar smokers are alway complaining about.  Now there is something to fix a problem.

Thanks for the post and contributing to the forum.

Most of us have a custom made poker by SJS, a member of this forum. I mainly use my to nub a cigar and very rarely use it as a poker. Here’s a thread of a few of them.

I’m not a big fan of buying stuff like that although I have a lot of different accessories.

A simple ice pick is much cheaper & serves the purpose.

I’m surprise you use it that often. What type of cut do you use on most of your stogies.

I, myself love the V cut..

I carry a piece of copper wire. About 3 inches long. It's worked for me. But thank you for sharing this tool.

Mostly like 99.9% of the time I use a Cuban Crafter Perfect Cutter, because it works on all sizes & shaped Cigars including Torpedos.  Many times I say this Cigar could draw a tad bit better, so the tool gets used because I have it, and it is also a little helper tool.

I use to use a Darning Needle on Rubber Cord Stopper to punch a hole in the Cap end, problem was it made a hole, when the Tabacco expanded after Cigar got hot, the hold disappeared or became small.  So problem was only fixed temporally.

I personally like the gizmo, or gadget, it work great in my experience with it. BTW love the photo above of custom nubber tool.

Well I made a D.Y.I. Nubber our of a Darming Needle, and Rubber Cork from the hardware store, work OK as Nubber, but marginal a draw helper.  see photo below.  Eye of needle was inserted into small end of rubber stopper, then rubber expanded, no I did not glue it, was not nessessary.

Problem is needles hole, when the Tabacco get hot after the Cigar has been lighter up, the heat expand the Tabacco, and the hole either closes, or get smaller.

The "TOOL" I posted about has two sets of teeth, one cuts Tobacco, the other grabs what it cut as the tool is withdrawn.  Leaving a air channel.  I personally love the invention, and honeslty think it is under priced.

JMHO

P.S. Would like to find guy who makes the fancy numbers, there rock.
