HUMIDOR HELP
#1
Ok so I just bought myself an adorini Chianti Medium Deluxe humidor. I opened the box and saw that the humidity was already at 65%, the box looked like it was opened so I figured maybe they already seasoned my humidor? since they already put a custom engraved plate on it too with my name.

I was like f**k it, I will season it anyway. Wiped the whole thing down with that magic distilled silverion water. Filled my humidifier with that magic good good too, and last but not least put the rest of the liquid in a cup, heated it in the microwave like it said in the book guide thing and placed that in the humidor too.

Now my question is, can I ruin the humidor by doing this again? What if it was already seasoned? My hydrometer thing is at 95%!!!

What should i do? Leave it overnight? take out the cup? EHHHH

Any help would be appreciated. Super anxious to place in my 50 cigars that I have been storing in ziplock bags/aluminium boxes with boveda packs.

Patience is the key here. Call the place & find out if it was already seasoned. Not that it matters (too late anyway) but maybe they will offer advice.
You can take out the cup leave it open for a few hours or so, then close it and see what what your readings are after a few hours. You do not want to rush putting your stogies in a over humidified  humidor.
Once you get back to 65 degrees or so, you will be fine.
Not a major deal just a little mishap if you handle it correctly.

Calibrate your hygrometer, i think its incorrect.

Yeah, I'd do a salt test on the Hygrometers 1st.  Link to instructions: http://www.stogiechat.com/forum/thread-15026.html

BTW...is it a digital or analog Hygrometer?  I've found the digital units to be more accurate than the analog.

I agree with the others about calibrating your hygrometer.  If it is accurate, then open up the humidor for an hour or so and let the humidity stabilize.  Also consider your ambient humidity.  Is is really humid where you are?  If so, like the Mum said, patience, and let the humidor settle.  It will all be fine.
