Storing notes with cigars.

I'd like to start putting a little note in with my cigars in the Humi.
Just so that later I can see what the cigar is (if it's not obvious), and when I got it (how long it's been resting).
I figured I'd just through the sticks in a baggie with a note and then put the whole baggie in the humi.

I don't want to isolate the cigars too much from the humidor's environment though. They are part of it after all.
Thus a sealed ziplock may not be a good idea?

Do you guys do anything similar?
How do you approach this earth shaking problem?

I went in on a group buy of something similar quite a few years ago, and they work great.
