Hurricane Sandy
This was me at 1PM today. I was under the crawl space ripping down the wet insulation from 9AM until then. It was 50 degrees outside, I was wet, tired and whatever else you can imagine but I wasn't gonna let that Bitch Sandy take down the Mum or my pride and joy. No freaking way. While I was in the crawl space I kept saying out loud, "Don't let that bitch win".

Tomorrow will be another tough day as I want to remove the heavy wet insulation from the crawl space to outside. I was able to remove it off the wires and rafters. I now have foul weather gear which I hope will keep me some what dry during this process.

As Mahk would say, I'm an old man but I'll challenge anyone to do what I did today or keep up with me.

Mario, the twins will be at the compound this summer, that's a promise.

Glad to hear the damage wasn't too bad (relatively speaking).

Jan, thanks for sharing. I wonder if that inlet was there before and the hurricane brought it back?

Glad it's not as bad Jim. As for my normal positive attitude, It still sucks.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.
