Hurricane Sandy
#61
A friend of mine just sent me this pic. It's about a mile from my beach house where we go to have a drink every now & then.

Also, check out these latest pics about 2 miles from my place.

The sad part is the storm hasn't really hit yet.

Jimmy, Please tell me you're moving inland? I just looked at the surge map and saw Middletown and you are sitting right up front in no mans land. http://goo.gl/g3HZw

I just watched 2 huge sections of the Atl City BW floating down the street and the storm is still 12 hours out. This storm is just amazing. This time last year was snowtober and right before that Irene and it just hit as a tropical storm. Be safe guys.

I'm staying put T. I'm not losing my basement again. We are inland and we just have to worry about the trees etc.

I hate to see what the beach house might look like. Sad

Landfall has sped up, probably around 5 or 6pm

So, apparently, according to what a lot of what my friends who live in Jersey are posting, South Jersey is pretty much gone. I saw a picture of Sea Isle, and it's completely under water... This thing is crazy.

Power is going out all over the place here. Just a matter of time.

I can't believe it's sped up landfall by 7 hours and I guess that's a good thing. Midnight would have $ucked and I guess it could have intensified if it landed then. Hang tough guys.
