Well tonight I treated myself to the last Cupido Churchill I had in my collection. I don't remember what year these things were from. I want to say late 90's but I don't remember. They were a boutique cigar that I always enjoyed that went out of production for some reason. At any rate, I found one last churchill in the drawer and decided it was time to light this badboy up. The draw was perfect and produced lots of creamy smoke. There was a sweet spice undertone that was completely enjoyable. The overiding flavors were wood and cocoa. The smoke was very creamy and felt great in my mouth. The aroma was sweet as well. This one was one of those you want the smoke to hang around you forever! On a 1 to 10 I'd give this a 9. It was that tasty!
If any of you have some of these left, I'd suggest revisiting them. If you have some of the originals you no longer want, pm me and I'll take them off your hands right quick! Although I'd suggest smoking them yourself for a real treat.

Hi Macallan,
I like them too.
They still make these, but they changed the name.
The brand name actually changed from La Carolina to "Cupido" and back to La Carolina.

They are SUPPOSED to be the same exact blend. It has been a few years since I had a cupido, I only remember it being delicious.
Maybe try the $19.99 sampler with 5 cigars before commiting to a full box, and if you do please let me know what you think.

It is funny, I was looking back through OLD OLD threads I had made years ago and I see here Cupidos, I had mentioned them recently too. I know a place an hour north of me (near maytagman) that actually has CUPIDOS for about $6 a stick, buy two get one free. I think all they have left is "ONE BOX"
