Is there a better option for hygrometer?

I have a couple from Xicar but got tired of them failing. Now I just buy a box from Wal Mart. Salt test and make a note of the +/- and they work great. Less than $5.00 each.

I think I have ten in there now and check them twice a year. Haven't had a problem since.

None of the walmarts around here carry them.

I have an Oregon Scientific weather station type thing with three remote wireless sensors.

I have a sensor in the top, middle, and bottom of my cab, and the base unit with the readout sits on top of the cab and scrolls throgh the three plus the ambient temp and humidity in the house (read by the base unit).

It has worked well for several years.

i have that too, but I put the 3 sensors in 3 different humidors and the monitor up in my room.

The RS ones that are constantly on clearance are rebadged Oregon Scientific remotes. Mine has worked very well for a long time for me, glad I'm not the only one that uses these.
