THE COOLEST COP ON HERE!
#1
Ok, maybe an over statement, but I took time out on a 10 hour day of overtime, yes overtime, sledding in the sierras, to take a quick pic.

I retired from another dept where I worked as ass off for a lot less $ for 25 years and simply appreciate my roll now. After working everything from crap cases to homicides--- HERE I AM AND I LOVE IT. A simple Deputy in the mountains who works patrol and now gets overtime to do this.

Next time with a cigar for you folks. In any case, I wont tell you who I work for because someone will take this too seriously and wreck my week, which has been perfect. Overtime, wife is DONE with 7 weeks of radiation on her breast cancer. Today is ribeye and lobster in celebration of hoping she is going to be fine and YES I worked overtime a lot to pay the medical biils and took a couple of pics.

I was wishing I had a cigar.

I saw the "IM DRUNK" post and decided to add one to that too. STRESS sucks.

Have fun.

Great pic! My FIL is retired from Alameda County, and I can pretty safely say that he didn't have too many days like that... LOL! I'm glad you found a place you enjoy working, and one of these days I'll get you to come down from the mountain for a visit... Wink

maytagman, we actually were out checking to see if we had enough snow to teach a class as the other guys I work with are pros on these things and they teach other counties and officers. I just took a quick moment to get a me photo for when I am even older.

And yes I wish there were Reno members around here!

Working Patrol is soooooooooo under rated it's almost funny. Way less stress and a lot less scrutiny. I used to laugh at the young guys in all those "special" units cause they thought thats what your supposed to do. When I went back to patrol my wife thought I was a brand new man. Nothing came home with me and what ever was expected from me was half of what I used to do.

God bless you buddy and be safe
