It was still 67 degrees at 4 this morning. Threw a few logs ajd a little paper in and it was roaring. I am sure the wife was happy to wake up to a nice warm house.

Got the finishing touches tonight. Picked up a fireplace tool set. Not sure how many of them I have thrown away, but this was the first one I bought.

After four stops at thrift stores I stumbled onto this alleged antique cast iron kettle. Got it for $20. It is sitting on the stove with some water, cinnamon sticks and cloves. Should make the place smell pretty good.
