Quesada Oktoberfest Bavarian
#1
Quesada Oktoberfest Bavarian
(Click on cigar name above to link to and listen to the episode!)

Size: 5-1/2 x 52

Wrapper: Cibao Valley, Dominican Republic
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Cuban seed Dominican Criollo, Olor Viso, and Ligero

About:
Quesada cigars are distributed in the United States by SAG Imports, a company created by the Quesada family in 1993 to handle U.S. distribution of cigars made in their MATASA factory.

I copied the following information from the SAG Imports website about the Quesada Oktoberfest cigars:

“Oktoberfest is one of the most famous festivals in the world. The yearly celebration attracts millions of people to Munich to partake in the festival, with millions more enjoying the famous beer produced for it.

Traditionally, there is a cigar tent for Aficionados to enjoy a smoke with their brew. This year, the Quesada family has blended a cigar specifically to be paired with the flavorful Marzen-style beer produced for Oktoberfest.

Blended with a variety of flavorful Dominican tobaccos, the Quesada Oktoberfest is available in very limited quantities in two sizes: the Bavarian (51/2 x 52) and the Uber (6 x 65)”

Great review Bill! I actually would have looked over this cigar due to the name. Now that I know that it's a serious blend, and not a gimicky release, I an intrigued!

Great contest too, btw! Wink

I thought the thread was about beer. Damn!
.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

Yes, the "Tim from PA" that I announced as th contest winner was indeed our very own Hunlock! I didn't include his handle in the announcement as I didn't want people to think that you have to be a member here to enter or win contests.

Of course, if members here are the only ones that enter the contests, that is bound to happen...

Tim, your pkg will go out at the end of this week.

Congrats! Smile
