I found a job in my field of Mechanical Engineering! Or close enough. 
As many of you here know I have been looking for a job in my field for about as long as I've been on Stogiechat. (versions 1 and 2 included!)
It will be contracted out though a recruiting firm called Entegee in Dubuque, IA for a company called Farmtek in Dyersville, IA doing CAD work in the SolidWorks software package.
It's an hour commute each way but that leaves time for cigars.
Pay isn't drastically more then I make now, ($2 more) but the big benefit is that I will finally have that pesky 'Job Experience' everyone wants but no one wants to give.
So it seems things are finally on the up and up. Bought the house last year, Got my mother-inlaws '65 Mustang in the garage (but she's probably going to take it back for the summer). Baby on the way and now the Job.
I couldn't be happier. Well I guess I should actually start the job before saying that. :p
Only thing that would be better if it was closer and being paid more. And happened 3 years ago.
