Dad lost it all!!!!
#1
Hey guys, just a quick fyi here. This past friday my dad lost everything that he had. He lost his home due to an electrical short in the wall. He did not have any insurance, which I did not know that he had cancelled a few years ago due to cost. Please keep him in mind around the family dinner tables for the next few weeks.

We have a camper set up for him and are looking for a smaller double wide to set where his home was. It is hard to find something that I can afford since I have to worry about my family. He is disabled with a very small disability check that he gets every month. I have contacted a fried that has a bank repo for very cheap, but was showing it today. Please pray that they will not take it or something where I can get thisd and pay for it with cash.

Thanks in advance for the thoughts and prayers!
Adam

Adam, sorry to hear about this. I gather the house was fully paid for and had no mortgage since he didn't have insurance. How much is the lot worth? Perhaps you can sell it and use that for some sort of down payment or rent?

Thoughts are with you and you dad.

Thanks Jimmy!! I know that he would not leave the home place. He has several acres that he would not consider selling and leaving. I guess that there are too many emotional ties there. Well, time will tell. Thanks again!
