I have moved it to the other end of the coolidor since this pic, readings have stayed the same.

A couple of types of cat litter and even a humidity/moisture control product that gardeners use. The difference is these other products take a little more work as they are not "pre-programmed" to hold a specific humidity. But all you have to do is watch it for a couple of weeks to figure out what works for your situation. I chose to use the garden type just because of the cost and the availibility. But mine is more for back up when I leave town for extended periods. My main device is an humidifier. Hope this helps.
