No. Never. And quite frankly I always found it quite humorous.
I will smoke it down to the point where my fingers will singe and lips burn. Or light up another.
At this point I barely feel pain from heat on my fingertips.

If my lips cant touch the cigar and i need a roach clip and i have to open my mouth to take a drag like the bottom of a joint then its gone ( not that i know anything about Joints )

In my experience by the time they get that short they stay too hot and get pretty harsh. To each his own though.
