torpedo's have more kick?

i have never smoked a 5 vegas gold in the torpedo size..i always get the 7/4 x 54 and its very smooth, creamy, and tasty..tonite i decided to smoked a 5 vegas gold in the torpedo size and i noticed it had a kick to it..some bite on the tongue..do torpedo's usually act like this?

i know the smoke is more directed onto the palette with a torpedo but i am not sure how that would effect strength

one more thing i forgot..the smoke clouds were huge..much more then usual with the torpedo

you know i had the same thing happen to me tonight while smoking an Oliva V Mumcero. Very smokey!
