Hi Folks!
In the midst of putting together a cigar smoking session for my oldest son's wedding reception I became more and more attracted to the idea of smoking cigars. Even though the smell of cigars has offended me in the past (could be cheap cigars) I couldn't stop thinking about it.
I've smoked cigarettes for 40 years and my lungs deserve a rest, though I'm not averse to the occasional cigar inhale. I've always loved the thick and luxurious look of cigar smoke. I've read much online about the wonderful flavors one can get from a fine handmade Dominican cigar from Cuban seed. I've read about hints of oak, chocolate, leather, cream, vanilla and so many others if it is a fine cigar made from quality tobaccos. But, I'm not necessarily into the idea of a purposely flavored cigar where a particular spice, etc. is added to the tobacco.
Any serious advice would be much appreciated. I already have a humidor and humidifier on the way. Now I just need to know where to start. Also, is an occasional inhale of, say, a mild cigar enjoyable? I enjoy inhaling, but I know I've got to make it just an occasional thing - especially with a cigar. Thanks!
