Lighting Technique

Heres my technique...seems to work just fine for me...

Cut cigar, stick cigar in face, torch cigar, smoke

I say as long as dont burn up half the cigar lighting it almost any flame will do.

By toasting the foot, you light in your hand first?  Before you actually light it to smoke it?

That's what I usually do.  I think I'm confused about toasting the foot.  I always thought it was justing lighting it up.

toasting the foot means you run the flame over it before you light it... lightly charring the foot.

I see.  I'll try that.  Thanks, seems alot cigars don't burn that well.  Maybe this will help.
