Funky cigar
#1
Have you guys ever had a cigar that, well, just rubbed you wrong? I have had maybe 2 cigars in the past couple months just be a complete disappointment and stand out substantially from the rest of their box! It kills me when I get a cigar that just is not living up to itself! I thank god this doesn't happen often but when I start to taste that funk in one of my favorite smokes, it just ruins it. Blah, way to put me in a bad mood Sad Happen to you guys ever?

Had that in a Rocky Patel Sungrown about a month ago.  Puffed it a few times, said "What the %$&$!?", puffed some more for about ten minutes, then tossed it.  Tasted like biting into a tree branch covered in bird droppings.  Very disturbing since it is one of my favorite smokes.  Haven't revisited the box yet, but I'll probably do it this weekend.

I reckon the worst experience I had was with a Bahia Blu that came in a sampler.
I had this smoke maybe three days before I decided to light it up....I swear it tasted like old, musty, molded paper.  I have never had another smoke to taste that way.
I called the vendor, just to let them know about it, but quite frankly, short of cutting them open or lighting one up, I don't know how they would be able to tell if any more of those smokes were like that.
They offered to send me another and that speaks highly of them.  After all, it was just my word on it and as they hadn't had any other complaints, I thought it was a sign of good customer service.

I have had that before. I think it is something we all experience.

Don Thomas Special Edition 60 ring gauge....hit like shit....mostly air and very little smoke.
May have tasted great if I could get smoke.

Dirty grass and weed rockets from cuban crafters,I added them to the compost bin.

I have had a chateau fuente sungrown that was extremely nasty...twice,I threw it out after 3 puffs.I think it was moldy.Definately was not sweet at all.

TE-AMO

Like I said before they're all concerned about mass influxes of illegal immigrants?  Imagine each of those illegals carrying a box of Te-Amo's under each arm while they wade across the San Jacinto.

Akin to incessantly sucking on the backfiring exhaust of a lime-green 77 gremlin with ripped brown vinyl seats covered in duct tape.

This man must be stopped.
