we watched the first half at work today during lunch john.  very interesting vid.  all of us in the office had a good smile at the opening music. 

i'm interested to try one of the guy's cigars now.

Its very interesting, especially on all of the preparation of the tobacco thats involved. I didn't think the leaves could stand up to the washings & then being shaken out!
If Sonny had EZ-Pass, he'd have survived that hit...

By the way... that video was a test. It seems to have worked out great... The primary video on it was something that a bunch of us circulated around when I was first getting into online cigar chatting... It's a pretty cool video.

 

Now that I see my experiment is a success... wait... I have put in almost 16 hours on the next production...

couldn't agree more. with the sheer amount of manual labor in the fields alone, before the leaves even make it to the curing barns, it's astounding cigars cost what they do.
the more i learn, the more i appreciate each puff. just like brewing: art + science = a life worth living.
